Hey im about todo an engine rebuild... nothing major just replace gaskets, get new pistons, cv joints.
And a ZEX 75 shot kit.

Do these headers look stock or aftermarket? They came with the car so I dont know.



Notice the oil on the left side of the headers? Can anyone tell me where this is probably coming from?




What ive been looking at is this intake mani replacements from edlebrock



Anyone have exp with them?

 

the oil, probably leaking valve cover gasket and that cast iron header is stock with just the heat shroud removed

That is a stock header.

 

you will loose power with the victorX unless, you boost it,

try going with the preformerX, you'll get more out of it for your build.


...maybe a cam while it's apart?

 

From what I know it has the Brian Cower cam in it... this was bought as a daily driver almost 2 years ago and now I have the funds to have... FUN. ;p

Obviosly they are ugly as **** and are going to be replaced... and im not looking to throw money down like a nfl team owner or anything... these headers seem to be on sale for about 100 bucks... worth it? Or what is a proven set that is budget oriented?

those bends look kinda sharp. Look in the marketplace, someone probably has a DC header or something you could pick up for around that price, or check eBay.
