Tranny control module
Ecu control module
Primary control module

Many of them and all at different locations in different civics from 1992-2000. Better start specifying y0.

That could possibly be your ECU (Engine Control Unit), which is located under the passenger side kick-board. It is more likely though, your main relay. That is above the hood latch on the driver's side. A little box, IIRC.

There is no real "control module" per-se. Obviously you know zilch about cars, whoever told you this bit of advice was speaking in a very generic sense.
