Default JDM H22 Trans Rebuild

I might be picking up a prelude that is swapped with the jdm h22. It is running the F-series transmission on it and the h-series tranny is included but needs to be rebuilt. Is there any factory service tools i would need to rebuild the tranny? Also what do I need to know about LSD diff installing into the tranny? Also is there a 5th that everyone runs to get better mpg? This would be my first tranny build.

Have you considered sticking with the f-series transmission? I currently have my jdm h22a mated to the original f-series trans that was in my S and enjoy the excellent fuel economy(never had less than 420/tank) thanks to the longer gears.

The car is by no means slow either :D. I get compliments/smiles whenever I rev through second gear.

You know how hard it is the stay in vtec while going into 2nd gear or even third gear with the F tranny? Yea, nealy impossible. it is impossible if you have a light fly.
it sucks!
