Help! Burning oil
Well if anyone remembers i make this post a little bit ago. I was burning a lot of oil and misfiring in my 91' hatch. I replaced the Valve Stem steals along with all the valve cover gaskets. This unfortunately did not help.
Now i am worried that my rings are fried?! Car has 156k miles on original D16 and has not been beaten to hard. Its primarily been a DD. So is there anything else that i might want to try before i pull the engine out?

I did a halfassed compression test and 3 out of 4 cylinders had 5 psi less than what was going into them with all 4 valves closed. But ill have to look into the PCV system.
Well when i did the valve stem seals i used compressed air to hold the vavle closed when i had the spring and keepers off. I was running about 60 psi in the cylinders and 3/4 of them were holding around 55 psi.
