I just got my first civic yesterday. 1991 civic hatchback. ANyways, got it because it needed alot of work and i plan to do it. so yeah, i have the first issue i ran across. the wiring harness. Just curious if anyone knows where to find a wiring diagram or a how-to with pics. would be great help.

 

you can always buy the civic "electrical troubleshooting manual" for your particular year on ebay..It has every wire schematic for your car that you could need!

Helm manual FTW

 

If it needs a lot of work, then you probably should buy a full helm shop manual via www.helminc.com. It is going to have the most accurate wiring diagrams. The wiring diagrams at the following sites may be helpful for the short run:

http://search.ebscohost.com/ Ask your public library if they have a username and password for ebscohost. Then login for free. Click on "Auto Repair Reference Center." The wiring diagrams are mostly very good; it is about the next best thing to the Helm manual.

autozone.com (free repair guides that often excerpt verbatim the shop manuals and have wiring diagrams by year).

i just bought the haynes manual off some guy for 11.oo so im hoping it has what i need.

 

You're going to want the factory manual - not one person said Haynes for a reason.
