Default any good EDUCATED guesses???

car 86-89 acura integra
swap ZC
wiring harness was used from the old D16, intake manifold was used from the D16, everything is plugged in, upon start up the car climbs straight to redline. any EDUCATED guesses????

there is a serious vacuum leak ... around the intake manifold?

eg IM gasket or maybe the ports dont match up(?)

well i unfortunately dont know, its not my car, just a local guys car, ill pass the info along though, maybe we will get it fixed. thanx for the quick responses from both of u.

the brake booster hose is quite large and may cause the vacuum leak like you described. other thing might be the intake manifold gasket might not be fitting right?

yea but tb's dont just stick open
i suspect he has some hoses backwards, not connected or a serious vacume leak.

Get some pliers and squeeze every vaccum hose on the manifold. If it stops, follow the hose to the problem. There is a row of solenoids on the firewall. Make sure you check the vaccum there too.
