Test Pipe
What is a test pipe. IE http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HONDA...3A1|240%3A1318 that auction and many more talk about this "test" pipe? any ideas? web

A pipe which was ment to be installed in place of the Catalytic Converter for testing purposes (if it was clogged or not).
It was ment to be removed once the diagnostic proceedure was finished.
As time passed, some left them on the cars, on the mistaken belief that they were actually seeing performance gains - not.
One point: they're 50 state illegal (except maybe in Fiji and Guam)
