OK so i have a question if anybodycan help it would be appreciated. I have a 89 crx si and i want to put a 91 crx si front bumper(bumper only) on it. Is there any other 91 crx part like the headlight, corner lights that i have to change on it too?? or will it go on without a problem? Thanks

 

you will of course need new bumper lights, and a new bumper support to accommodate for the new bumper lights.

 

The bumper support is the metal bar that runs across the bumper rite? behind it

ya its the lil bar the bolts to the bumper

 

yea because the newer bumper lights are longer the 88-89 bumper support doesnt have enough room to cover the lights since the 88-89 are about 1" smaller.

 

Is this something that you know for a fact or just something that you heard? about the bumper support? i dont want to buy it and then it might not be a necessity. i appreciate your help.

 

Well put t this aT are you manning on putting the foam back in, if so then you need it. As for the lights I tried putting them in my friends 89 Crx so and my spare set of 90 lights did not fit. If you don't wanna buy a new support them you will have to cut your old ones.

 

I will buy the support if its needed. i just need to know what parts i need to put this bumper onto my 89 crx. i only have the 91 bumper as of now. i guess its just the bumper support?

 

total parts needed..
1. bumper
2. bumper lights
3. si lip (optional)
4. foam support (optional, but i recommend it)

thats all thats needed.
