Icon6 1996 Honda Accord Timing Belt Seals

When getting an oil change, i had my timing belt inspected. The timing belt cover was taken out and the engine was lifted up with a wooden block. After this, the timing belt seals are now leaking and the power steering pump is leaking. Are these leaks related to doing all that??? Or is it coincidence, because it wasn't leaking before. Help!

NO they were leaking before you just had not paid attention until some one brought it to your attention.

Sorry, but I believe it to be coincidental. Taking the cover(s) off to inspect the belt would have no effect on the shaft seals.
They would have been (most likely) worn already.

Now, if you were asking aboot a crushed oil pan THEN I could point to the "Lift the engine with a block' proceedure.
