this past xmas i got a 1990 accord the car is supposed to have a cruise control unit but there wasnt one in the car i went out to a junk yard and picked 2 up when i connect the vacume lines and start the car turn cruise control on then shut the car off and attempt to restart the car it dosnt want to turn over if i dissconnect the lines then reconnect them it starts fine. i reset the ECU and still have the problem. the problem continues with either one of the cruise control units. any one think they know whats wrong or has had the problem b4? Help would be greatly appreciated.

 

I have no idea how your cruise control is wired but I do know that in my stock 91 it's wired into the ignition fuse. If that is blown your car will not do anything when you turn the key. It's the 50A fuse under the hood. They're 5 bucks to replace.

 

From what im told the 90-93 Accords are pretty much the same but ill look into it thanks

 

its not the fuse. i have no idea what it is
