Default Quick Random Headlight DIY

Okay I did this on a broken headlight just to see how it would turn out and figured since I couldn't find a DIY on it I'd just post one up and see what everyone thinks.

Pull Apart all metal clips with pliers and everything rubber (hoses etc.)

It tells you how to pull these suckers off.

Heat Oven to 265 and get a baking sheet covered with tin foil. Put in headlight for no more then 8mins. I put mine in for 8 mins and the bottom clip started to melt.

Pry apart the cover from the casing with a flat head screw driver, two people might make this easier since everything is still hot, but I did it by myself.

You'll notice that it doesn't just all fall apart and there aren't screws to pull the main piece out, you just have to locate this silly thing and pinch both tabs and it pops right out.

Clean headlights cause I don't know about yours but mine were REALLY dirty so I thoroughly cleaned them.

Prime and Paint whatever you'd like to and obviously let it dry.

Put everything back together same way you disassembled it, which is dependent on what you wanted to paint. I painted everything that was chrome and the entire housing.

Heat the oven back up and put headlight back in for no more then 6 minutes just enough to heat the sealant back up and the lens will slide back into place. Open a new beer and relax and look at what you did.

not really sure if this is going to be useful to anyone but hey figured if someone needed help and didn't know how to or something might as well. comments/concerns welcome.
