Default Taking paint off of carbon fiber

I just bought a hatch and the dummy before me painted the sides of the carbon fiber hood I wanted to know if it can be removed or if its non removeable in which case I need to find a stock hood? any help is appreciated

YES, u can sand down the paint to clear.. then re-clear it.

can you suggest a grit and is it a wet sand or dry?

Even if the paint doesnt come off, why buy a stock hood? just finish painting the carbon fiber one...
