Default got a leak, can anyone help

Alright i found leak, a pretty big one, i dont knowa what the part is though.
Its right behind the CV joint where you steering takes place, its rubber and is ribbed

That ribbed rubber thing is your cv boot.
If your joints aren't clicking when you accelerate out of a corner then do the boot.
If the joint is clicking then do a joint kit / axel.

shitty. CV boots are a bit of a biach. I hear you can remove them without removing alot of your suspension parts. Theres a sticky in here that tells you how. Just have to search CV boots probably.

For just doing the boot i don't even take the axle out of the transmission.
I just take apart the lower ball joint after unbolting the brake line and ABS wire from the strut. Then clamp some visegrips on the axle behind the strut fork(to keep the axle in the transmission) then tap the joint off the axle replace the boot add the grease and tap the joint back on. Then tighten the axle nut with a torque wrench to spec.
