Im lookin for a good low milage d15b7, preferably around 60k.
I just gave up on tryin to find a d15b sohc vtec for my hatch and I just need something to replace my old worn out oil burning sob of a d15b7.

 

I will be looking to get rid of my D15B8 in about two months (74000 miles). Can you wait? How much are you looking to pay? I'm just trying to get an idea for how much I should sell the whole she-bang for? Any ideas?

I know the B15B8 has less hp, but I just thought I would make the offer. Try and hang out around performance shops that do swaps, so you can pick up a motor from a DX that is upgrading.

 

why did you give up? check with the following places, they can defiantly get you one....or come over to Toronto (canada), they are more then plentiful here

Yesterday I called over 25 salvage yards and used engine shops around My local area and all over the state of Indiana, I only found 2 places that had an engine for me, I asked for a d15b7 w/less than 70,000 miles, no one had one. I asked about the d16z6, one place had one with 45,000 miles but no distributor, 750 for the engine and ecu, another place had one w/125,000 miles for 600 w/ecu. I cant afford too much. I need to find a good engine for 500bucks or less shipped.

 

I bought the one in my beater for $50; runs like a champ
