d16y8 si engine burns oil can you still use the head or noo let know please???

 

Assuming it's in good shape mechanically and the valve guides/seals are still controlling oil (read: not leaking) then it should be re-useable. Also make sure it's square (not warped etc.).


Edit: to anyone reading this that doesn't know in Canada the Si model is equipped with the D16Y8 and the SiR has the B16A2.
