Default zc ecu

I know there are a bunch of ecu's you can use with the zc. I want to know witch one works the best? as of now i am planning on useing my 89 si ecu. Will that one work pretty good?

The Si ecu will run the motor but the 89 integra ecu or the ZC ecu will allow the motor to run much better. The ZC and integra ecus have better fuel maps that are better matched to the ZC motor than the Si ecu.

if you go with the ZC ECU, you may want to find one from an 90 or 91 JDM CRX/Civic Si;
apparentlly there is a big difference in driveability with the later ones.

I am running the stock Si ecu with my ZC for now and it runs ok. But I've done a ton of research, and I've decided on the Integra (Pg7) ecu. You get about the same power as the ZC ecu, but it's cheaper, easier to find. . and no damned speed governor at 112 mph.

You will get more power than the Si ECU or the TEG Ecu with the ZC ECU, it has the correct Fuel maps, The TEG runs rich, and the Si while it works is the worst choice. And makes the Least power and has the worst driveability. Yes it has a 112mph speed limiter, that can be chipped to removve it. This subject has been flogged to death. THe ZC has the best maps for the ZC, if you run a TEG or Si ECU they can be chipped with the ZC maps. Do a search. Results will back up what I say. I am running a ZC ECU for that reason.
