For the cold air intake, I can't see there being too much of a difference, its basic physics that I'm sure ebay companies could copy no problem. I don't know how often you ride through that deep of puddles where you but I'm gonna assume it won't be used that often.

In terms of quality/production I'm sure AEM would be better. However, as Ron stated, it's really simple physics that Ebay companies probably had no issue copying. I think it would be fine to use an Ebay one.

if i was to use the ebay one would air come in through there and the cone filter at the same time n if so would there be a problem considering from the cone cold air would come thru n at the bypass hot air would come thru

It's a trade-off. a little less cold air and you get the air you need when your car drowns, or cold air, and your car is begging for air when it drowns, or don't drive in puddles that deep in the first place with a cai.

let's put it this way would you risk hydrolocking your motor with a cheap knockoff or go with a proven product like aem. saving a couple dollars could cost a motor in the long run

Beat me to it. Easiest way to avoid the problem is just to make it a short ram. They sound better anyway.
