Icon3 05 civic sedan fog light problem

alright so i ordered some fog lights for my civic...i removed the bumper and cut the holes...and drilled the holes for the boss on the lights...but they dont fit like they're supposed to...is there something im missing??? it seems like they're to big to go into the factory holes on the bumper, i can actually get the hole to line up where you're supposed to bolt them down and the clip does clip...but the fitment just isnt right...any idea??? i can post pics if needed

Why not trim the opening, little by little, until they fit the way you want them to?

yeah i was kinda worried about cutting it way to much..it seems like id have to cut into the bumper itself to get them to actually fit in there flush...but once they're past that part there would be a huge gap.....if i stick the side in without the boss first they go all the way in...but then i cant get the boss in....maybe i can trim the boss down a bit??

I also got my yellow fogs from ebay and they had horrible fitment and wiring. So I bought a regular set from an import store. I ended up not using my second set of fogs. We had to directly drill the lights into the bumper itself. You ust have to make them work. Hey Limestand, where did you get your lip kit? I've been searching but the only place i can find them for the 05 civic is ebay. Please help.
