Icon6 Motor jumps

why does it feel like my motor jumps back and forth when i let out on the clutch ? Fells like there is no motor mounts. replaced 2 mounts and the 2 others seem to be fine but still feels sloppy,,

not to sound like an ***, but i would think that you are letting clutch out too quick unless you were a little more descriptive info on what is exactly happening. can you feel the whole car jump back and forth, etc.

...and just how did you test these motor mounts?
Which two (2) did you replace?

More importantly, What car are we talking about here?

I replaced the the front and the drivers side. They were cracked and the others looked solid to me. Its a 1990 Civic with a 1.5 motor, It feels like when i give it gas or let off on the gas it feels like the motor not mounted securly it has play.

I'd take another look at the rear mount. It's a common culprit for adrift engines and vibration complaints at idle.

i have the same problem but i have an automatic accord(02' ex-I4). im about to replace the motor mounts, but i didnt know about rear mounts. does my accord have them, and if so, could this be causing the problem?????

It depends on how violently your engine vibrates....

Honda uses four (4)

Halfway off topic, but how does that vacuum assisted rear mount work? I've always been wondering.
