I haven't had any personal experience with the V-spec coilovers, but compared to the price of ground controls...i would spend a little more and get the GCs. Many happy users and a quality product!

noway they suck 
my friend has them and he says his cut stock coils are even better they are nowhere in comparison to skunk or ground control!
