Difference between 98-00 and 2001-2002
Hey guys, I am looking to add on a body kit to my 2002 accord. I notice that there are some kits for 98-00 and 2001-2002. Is there any way to install a 98-00 on a 2002? If there is truly a difference, what is it?
Thank you guys.
Thank you guys.

A CHEAP BODY KIT (whole bumper covers, not just a lip kit) should fit all 6 GEN Accords.
The bumpers themselves are different but the mounting points for the bumpers should be for the most part the same. You will have to drill holes or self tap screws and cut and grind any way, so it doesnt realy matter. I would suggest that you just get a nice lip or lip kit and a clean functionable drop.
I dont own a 6gen accord but from what I can see is the front and back bumpers are a bit different. You maybe able to retrofit a lip kit between the model years.
Putting on a body kit will reduce the integrity of your car. Cheap fiberglass parts are just that CHEAP. They brake, crack, chip, and are not very practicle. Dont let me forget either, Most of them are just F`n UGLY!
That Accord tuner thread had nothing to do with this topic.
