Stock mufflers dont get the "rattle" sound. I have two and a half inch piping to a stock exhuast and sounds exactly like stock.

X2. Same for me. I'm running a 2 half pipe on a stock muffler and no rattle. Winter mode!

if you want that rattle sound you need a test pipe.. when I got rid of my cat my stock exhaust had that signature rattle sound that I kinda grew to love.. then when I finally got an exhaust it was waaay too loud for my liking.. I only recommend doing a test pipe if you're going to run the stock exhaust, otherwise say goodbye to your ear drums and say hello to the po-po

Are you kidding me? If you want a stock muffler to sound like **** why dont you just go under your car and punch a hole in it and there you go. If you want your car to be loud period why the hell dont you just buy an aftermarket exhaust that looks stock but sounds good at the same time instead of going the cheapest and the most shittiest way possible and trying to make your stock one sounds like ****?

at first I had it to the stock muffler, then I bought an aftermarket axleback later on (regrettably)

here's a vid of when I had it on the stock exhaust

I've never known anybody to run 3" exhaust to a stock muffler for a "rattle" sound. I've seen people do cut-outs for racing, then stock muffler for daily driving...
