he is boosted and has a chipped obd1
im planning on trading my car for a crx with gsr w/ obd1 or maybe another w/ b16a2 w/ obd1
his check engine light pops on when it hits 8200rpm
and i was wondering how could i do that to the crx obiously to my readline
and also does this only work with the check enine?
or are there more and can you do it with multiple ones at a time?

and one more thing what stock gauge clusters fit crxs goes at 9000rpm
cuz im not interested in a 5" 'autozone special' tach

 

someone who chippes ecus might do it who knows? im running hondata and my shift light is the check engine warning light!!!

 

You can set up an LED Shiftlight into the check engine bulb socket behind the cluster which would light up the check engine light when the light itself turns on.

 

true!!!! you could do the same with the vtec!!!! i ran one of those little alarm lights by my cluster as my vtec and check engine as my shifter light!!!!

 

which wire (on the v-tec) did you hook the light to? the pressure switch?
