I need a rear bumper for my 89 Civic DX hatch. My friend has an extra rear bumper from his 89 CRX that I can get for free. I noticed that my hatch has the metal piece above the bumper that has the key hole for the hatch. The CRX bumper has that piece molded onto it and no key hole. Will the bumper bolt up and fit right if I either remove the lock or cut a hole for it?

I mean why would you want to put on a crz one, it has color
keep the black hatch ones

 

It's not a matter of choice, it's because my rear hatch bumper is mangled and I can't find a replacement one. A few people told me it will work but I wanted to check and see if anyone has done it before.

 

no they dont fit because the crx tailights are all different, so the filler piece is different, and the frame support from the crx is completely different from the hatch
