crx front end on 91 dx civic hb
ok im kinda sick of the civic front end now. so i was wondering if i put the crx si front end on, do i just need the hood, bumper fender and headlights? and would everything be a bolt on or do i have to get the radiator support too?
my friend did this. is a good idea and looks really good. you need hood, bumper, bumper support, and fenders. BUT to get the fenders to work, you need to modify the bottom of the fender where it meets the door to make it work right bc the crx has the plastic piece that is part of the side skirts that cover up the fender.
oh ya that reminds me of a guy on here that did the ef8 SIR front end on his hatch... kind of ugly cause it seemed too long, but i think the usdm would be better. Search it on honda-tech.
He did a how to or atleast he showed his steps on doing it. You cant miss it either. ITS an orange hatch. You need everything from a crx. Lights with brackets, fenders( Cut the bottom and have it welded with a hatch fender), bumper maybe with reinforcement, and Rad support but dont quote me on that. maybe itll work like that. but only way to know is to try it on your own.
