I need help asap. My neighbor is selling a AEM plug and play engine management system for $300 and I have enough but the only problem is I was saving that money to buy a boost timing controller for my Jackson Racing supercharger I just bought for my d16y7. I was told that if I upgraded my ecu, I wont need the pre tuned BTC anymore. Is that true? Can I use the AEM ecu with my supercharger without the BTC?

 

Simple answer no you wont need the BTC anymore just the EMS.
