I would say it would be equal to a gsr with type-r brakes and suspension all struts bars, tie bars, sway bars, and nitto 555r tires...

In all honesty, itll be compared to, but never better than an ITR. other cars include Celica GTS and all cars in that class.

looks like it's time for someone to start reading.

every person here has done this, because just asking questions like these will not get you anywhere.

start using the search button and be sure to search the archived posts - not only the recent topics. doing this should bring you mostly up to speed in no time.

who cares? drive it then when/if you get beat, learn to drive it better.

since when is the frame itself different though? I just looked at the frame on an R and a GSR and they look the same to me. The body shell and rear subframe are different of course..

Difference between the GS-R frame and the ITR frame:
Increased rear wheelhouse thickness
Thicker rear pillar upeer girder
Thicker rear roof rail upper
Thicker rear damper gusset
Thicker rear lower arm bracket
Thicker rear wheel arch extension

And of course no sunroof..

I think parts of the shell are thicker around the hatch area...
Not sure what else though.
Correct, the body shell is different. so is the rear subframe, I said that in my post but the FRAME....

I think he wanted someone here to say that his car will Handle as well as an ITR and better than an Si or something like that.

ITR everything is NOT always better than the best aftermarket setups But, in your case it is better than a STOCK GSR. Be satisfied and happy with how it feels and what it does.

If you want to upgrade then here's an article for you: http://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/1009600.phtml

And if you are REALLY concerned about handling, Ditch the Nitto 555's and get some better rubber.

Good luck,

A.

PS "If's" are a funny thing, you can wonder what "If" about anything in the world. Guessing and dreaming are a big part of what "If's"...

That's exactly the reason why I said this thread is pointless.
