so i bought this carsound cat off of a guy from ebay and he told me that it was 2.5" cat and it had flanges and welded on and stuff.. he also had a pic of it..anyways, i went ahead and bought it for 50 bux and i just received it. the damn cat is 2"?!?!?! it wont fit my header. wut should i do...chances are he wont give me my money back.

thats why i never buy anything unless i can see it, feel it, smell it..u and others keep buying stuff online and the story keeps repeating itself..enough of this..chances are this guy got the wrong cat., just like u..just try reselling it to someone else..but, be honest with the new buyer

 

Get him to send a pic with a ruler up next to it. Thats what I did with the TB I'm buying

 

you cant measure a throttle body with a ruler. they always look larger or smaller speneding on the side you measure.

 

Sorry to hear this happned. This is why I will never buy stuff from E-bay

 

I have a 2.5" cat but it has 2" flanges on it. I guess this is so it flows better but works with the majority of configurations.
