Weight of Honda motors
How much do the different motors weigh? i.e. B16, B18a,b,c, B20, H22. The reason I'm asking is that I'm thinking about buying a CRX and using it to get into autocrossing, but I would like to have something able to get me down the 1320 faster than a 15. Maybe I'm just asking to much from the car, but anyone's advice or flaming is welcomed.
A D16Y8 will run low 15s to high 14s in the 1/4 mile and doesn't weigh much more - if it weighs anymore at all - than the stock CRX engine. Plus it's torquey atlower RPM compared to the VTEC B-series engines which will help you quite a bit.

lol he asked the 'weights' of the motors, not the 1/4 times
h22 weighs 385 lbs w/tranny, gsr/b16 weigh about 290-ish w/tranny, and d series weigh about 150 ish with tranny.
turbo or Supercharged D16Y8 will give you alot of torque for being in 14's for D16Y8 or D16Z6 of what the above comment says

Yes, but he also asked something that would get him down the 1320 faster than a 15...
And I don't know the weights, but I know how the cars handle with those two engines (B16A and D16Y8) because me and my brother have them in our CRX's, respectively.
