Hey guys, tooled around in my spare time last night and tonight and had a little fun. Pulled off the coolant neck and it looked like it flowed liked garbage.

Figured I could help flow a bit if I radiused the edges and took away the 90 degree angles. So I took a carbide bit and some sanding drums to it and came up with this after last night.


Then after a bit more work tonight to clean it up.


Sure, it might not be worth any horsepower, but I'll take any advantage I can get, however they come.

 

where is that located at? the coolant neck?

 

 

Nice idea! Looks like a good way to practice porting before cutting into the head.

 

Hell, yeah. more oil pump porting practice for me than cyl. head though.
