Default My ebay "front lip"....

Hey guys my parents ordered me a front lip for christmas and i ended up finally getting it today. Its not what i expected. I thought it would be a hard material. Carbon fiber or fiberglass or something. Here is a pic of it. Here is the url http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/92-93...1%7C240%3A1318 . I was wondering if anyone has used one of these type of lips or should i send it back and get a different one. thanks guys.

Almost all polyurethane lips are shipped this way to save on shipping cost. You need to heat it up with a heat gun or a hair dryer or leave it out in the sun and it'll go back to it's original shape. I've had several lips sent this way and they always go back to their shape.

My Wings West lip looked worse than that. You have to let them sit out or use a hair dryer like said before. You should have seen my fender liners when they came. I almost died when I first saw them.

This is also an ebay lip from a 94-95 accord, at first I thought it would never fit, the curves wouldn't line up at all, some guy who's good at this kind of stuff made it fit, here's how it looks:

Listen here, I used to work for eBay so your in a simple situation, this is what you do because I know you paid PayPal. Tell the seller to send you a new one PROPERLY packaged, or a refund. If you don't get the item, or your money back withing 45 days open a PayPal dispute. You are guaranteed your money back. Whatever happens you MUST open the dispute within 45 days and also close it to escalate it to a claim, otherwise your botched. Paypal will refund you if the seller does not. Thats that yo.

that sounds like the right thing to do
I work with eBay all the time(I use it for my business, don't work for eBay)
getting a refund or replacement can be a frustrating, and annoying process
unless done properly.

Dude... I think its a similar lip to the one I have. Personally I would not go with any other material than this one. A trick to get it loosened up and have it fit right is to let it sit out in the sun for a few hours and it becomes a little softer. Then mount it on the car and it should fit like a glove. I have had my lip for 2 years and have hit various curbs and such. I works awesome and the only thing I have is minor scratches on the bottom. You never have it worry about it breaking. Id say stick with the lip you might regret it!!
