will this motor swap work?
I have a 90 lx accord and I'm thinking of buying a 92 ex accord with a broken timing belt/locked up motor. That car is in better shape than mine and i was wondering if the motors are indentical to where they can be swapped out? Mine is a manual and the 92 is an auto. Are there any problem s I would run into exchanging these motors for one another and would I need to buy any additional parts to make the 90 motor run in the 92 car? Thanks

The problem arises (however) with your swapping in a non-vtec engine ('90 LX) into a chassis set up for a Vtec ('92 EX).
The ECM, engine harness and some sensors will be different and will have to be delt with.

You just lucked out. The 1990 Accord was the first year of the F22bx engine which ended production (for the Accord at least) at the end of the 1997 model year, so they will both physically bolt up.

About quizbo? it's interchangable, just do what zchach2c said. and you might wanna replace any leaking seals while the engine is out, so that way you wont have to go back to it in the future.
