Default Your lude in the wet

I have a 4th gen lude and it is absolutely dangerous on a wet road. Hydroplanes very very bad. just wondering if anyone elses 4th gens are bad in wet weather, or if i need better tires.

you probably need better tires. Get your alignment checked as well.

Yeah I agree you need better tires. I have an 01 Accord and an 01 Prelude, both perform just fine in the rain but ive got good tires.

Tires make all the difference in the wet.

You need better tires, and probably an alignment as well for good measure.

Your tires must suck. Preludes handle really well in all conditions with proper tires. Especially 4ws lol

yeah, its the tires. Mine handles fine when I have good tires on it. With bad tires mine slides though.

My prelude sucks in the snow. I have brand new all season yokohamas on the car. I had a camry which was much better. My prelude is like as bad as an fbody in the snow

Driving through snow/rain is 50% tires, 45% driver, and 5% car. So, if you have good tires and still experience difficulties, YOU are the problem.

I run those in the summer, and some Dunlop graspics in the winter--no problems, even though I have about 1/32" left before I hit the wear bars left on the Hankooks.
