Anyone in El Paso? Hondata tuning anywhere
I'm getting ready to move to El Paso in Septrmber, I should be there in mid October. Anyone from that area? Does anyone know where I can get my Hondata tuned? I'm driving from Charleston SC to Ohio to St. Loius to El Paso. I need to find someone to tune my hondata, preferably on this route. Thanks
i dont know of anyone near here to tune. im in las cruces(30 min. from el paso). dyno time is supposed to be ridiculous in el paso. and when you get here, im assuming youre going to be at the base near here, there are races every sunday night 8pm-12am at this old airport at the end of pelicano road. im me for any more local Qs. i used to live near ramstein.
Hey, I live in El Paso, there is only one dyno here. It's on the west side and wouldn't trust it to tune your car. If you can, go to Houston or Austin,
Me and some of ma boys just took a road trip to phoenix to try and tune our AEM ecus. As soon as they told us that they had blown engines trying to tune an AEM, we decided to hold off and now are in the process of making a trip to Cali. I don't think hondata should be as big of a problem to tune(it's been around longer, more are familiar with it). When you get here, you are welcome to roll with us, We are the few Turbo Hondas in El Paso. If u need more info about the area, just let me know.

We tune hondata systems (actually that's our tuning specialty
) and we're in Albuquerque, NM 3 hrs from Cruces, so about a 3.5 hour drive for you. Shoot me an email if you're interested, we charge $80 an hour and have our own wideband O2 for street tuning.

Hey, Firedrake, do you know anyone familiar with the AEM plug and pray settup in Albuquerque? I went to visit some friends up there,...the cops over there are NO joke.. always traveling in packs of 2 sometimes 3. I really didn't see too many imports. Oh well, let me know thanks, Mike.
We haven't tuned any AEM systems extensively yet, one guy had it for his GSR and we played around with it, but he took it off and decided to go with a hondata instead. The AEM systems take a MUCH longer time to tune, I'd guess 4-5 hours of tuning time at least, but we're perfectly capable of doing it. And we have the only wideband O2 sensor setup in the state of NM for street tuning.......
There is a bunch of rice up here, not too many really serious cars......our shop has the fastest honda in the state (turbo nitrous stock motor GSR, street driven), and also a VERY fast talon (probably the third fastest import in the state behind 2 single turbo supras)......our 200 whp stock motor D16 civic is getting a bigger turbo as I type this
Yeah, the cops up here are rediculous
The shop website is the link in my sig, let me know if you're interested in tuning
