Default which ECU should i use?

i have a 96 ek with an OBD2B engine harness.

i will be converting it to OBD1 with a jumper harness.

my motor will be a single cam ZC w/ v-tec.

i read some specs saying the ZC ecu for single cam v-tec is p29-900 and the dohc ZC is the p29-000. is that correct?

others say i should use the P28 off the OBD1 ex/si ecu.

if anyone can help, gladly appreciated!
