The gauges you have in that picture are in a much cleaner location than the pillar. The pillar attracts thieves and cops. Just my 2 cents.

the 18,000 population city i live 20 minutes outside of hasnt had any sort of car theift in years. . . and cops arent too worried about emmissions and modified vehicles here in saskatchewan either. . so the dead give away of gauges being shown wont apply to their little pastry run brains

i just want a new look and dont want my gauges by my spedo anymore.

a pillar gauge cluster screams "rice". If your car is at all clean, I wouldn't mess with that, the one you have now looks good.

I like that gAuge setup then any pillar bezel I've ever seen. I think it looks cleaner and the A pillar is like putting a sign up saying "break into me"

Almost everybody in here has said it attracts cops and/or thieves. Do you think they are saying that just for the hell of it?

Think about it. You drive an EM1, the most stolen car in Canada and probably really high in the US, too. Do you think it needs glowing gauges by the window, too, for everybody to see? Be smart about it, for your own good.

dunno .. just seen other people;s setup on their pillar and it looked kinda neat . . and in saskatchewan its illegal for front windows to be tinted to hide it. . .so it would be visible. . . nto like i'm complaining about not being able to tint the door glasses. . but i'd rather have the window break free in an accident than to be held together by tint and falling onto me cutting me up being one bigger piece

i DEFINATELY want to change my boost gauge. . but i want soemthing thats in red. . thats why i went with the glow shift gauge cuz i needed soemthing quick and it is changeable to red. . its so innacurate too. . it reads about 4-5 psi higher than the data logging read out on the map sensor

I've had my pillar gauges for over 7 years here in cali and I've had the infamous c.h.p. drive next to me at night when my gauges really light up and have had no issues. Though it does attract thieves since this is my second set. But if you do not want to put it on so as not to attract thieves then you are letting their "terrorism" win. Screw em'! Do what you like with pride. I color matched my pillar so it looks factory. To each their own.

I love this.... this is one of the reasons I am getting so tired of H-T. If it aint stock then it aint cool. Hell as far as I am concerned half these guys got together and decided that if they couldnt afford all these fancy stuff then they would just knock it and boy did it spread like wild fire. Listen Fu$% what other people think first of all I have gauges out the wazoo and it isnt to look cool, its to monitor everything and belive me I am not going to limit myself to two gauges in hopes that people are not going to steal my car. I dont know if yall read or watch the news but innocent people like mothers and people that could care less about tuning are getting hit for there 200k plus hondas and for what just so some jacka$$ can pop the hood to find that there isnt a dohc motor or turbo under it. There is no stopping the epidemic of stolen hondas. just give it up, if you dont park in garage and have multiple antitheft devices that take 3-5 mins to activate everytime you get out the car (exagrated) then you dont stand a chance anyway. listen I am sorry I am just tired of the same crap over and over again and I am fully aware it is never going to change so to everybody rocking your stock "JDM" interior and exterior have fun cause that is played out and this industry is a little more about individuality then that so have fun ladies!!
