help me now i'm goin to get the part in aobut an hour or 2.......911
my distrubtor is dead n i need a new one...would a 96 honda civic ex...also a 1.6 distrubtor fit?..like would it work cause one of my firend is sellin it for 25 bucks to me...thanx...

on which engine, in which car?? if it's a 88-91 civic/crx, it will NOT work. Civics/CRX's are OBD-O, 92-95 civic's/del sols are OBD-I, 96+ Civics/ 1.6EL's are OBD-II. Not really interchangable.

Well, first the car will begin shaking violently, followed by ejection of the spark plugs from the head and culminating in a violent explosion that will destroy everything in a 2 mile radius. 
Seriously, the dizzy won't even plug in. Different plugs between OBD0 and OBD1 distributors.
