well i just bought a d16y8 to swap in my EF but it needs a camshaft and cam gear and i was wondering if anyone could recommend any good camshafts or cam gears.

cant go wrong with skunk2 tuner stage 1 cam,make sure you get springs. and full-race gear.

 

thats actually the one i was thinking about, but my friend said i could get the skunk2 stage1 camshaft for $120 but the only ones i found were $250 which is a little pricey, its either that or i spend $80 on a y8 head and take the camshaft. So i am not sure if since i need it replaced anyways i should spend a lil more and get the better one or save money and get the stock one. just wish i could find it for under $250. hmmm. any thoughts?

 

i got to looking skunk2 might have discontinued that cam,fear not bisimoto also makes great stuff as well

 

D15B have the best stock VTEC camshaft and are fairly cheap.
Blox also makes great camshafts.
