Default Bolts connecting stock shock to the control arm...

My new suspension came in today and I can't get the bolts off of the stock shock. I sprayed it with Liquid Wrench and WD40 a few times and no luck. I even cracked a Snap-On 14mm socket trying to take it off. Am I better off going to a shop to have the loosen the bolt or is there a trick to it?

, two beers and a martini for whoever has an idea for me.

when trying to break the bolt loose don't use constant force to break the bolt loose try to use a quick set of jerks to get it loose.

A very common problem, if an impact wrench can't break it loose, you have to drill them out.

I was thinking of bringing it to acura to see if they'd loosen them up for me but I know they would probably charge 50+.

that bolt is prolly gonna break. happens all the friggin time and it sucks big time. you'll prolly have to get another control arm.

Yup.. that happenned to mine.. on BOTH sides.. actually 4 of them were seized.. The ones from the lower control arm going to the subframe.. and the ones going to the trailing arm.. They're usually seized/rusted inside the bushings sleeve... I ended up using a cut off wheel and cutting the bolts off.. So.. gonna have to get replacements..
