Icon6 Headlight Wire

I have a 97 Honda Accord. I need to splice a section of the headlight wire, but I have no idea what gauge of wire I should use. Any help would be much appreciated.

That depends on what you are trying to drive from the headlight circuit. However, if its anything that takes more than an amp or two, then you should use the headlight voltage to turn on a relay, and use the relay to control what your using- otherwise you will end up blowing the fuse that controls the headlights. I think most headlight circuit wires are about 18 guage if your looking for a match, however I would still recommend hooking up a relay (DONT just use the stock wiring and install a bigger fuse!).
