As I have stated in past posts I am in IRAQ until April and am trying to piece together all the parts I need to do another engine rebuild. I have been looking into the Bisimoto cams and have seen alot of good things. My question is has anyone had any direct contact with any of the cams and if so what type of results have you seen. I am looking for a true turbo cam. I have a bored d16y8 turbo with everything in it that has been replaced from rods to pistons injectors every piece of the fuel system and the ecu all crome pro xenocron components and now I am looking to mess with the head to get more power. I drive this car on weekdends strictly for fun and its built for nothing but speed! On the same token I do need to be able to idle at red lights, but I can deal with a lopie cam. Should I go with a cam that runs the factory springs and retainers or swap them as well? All sugestions appreciated BISIMOTO if your there I'll take your input too!

 

i dont have his cams but i to have read excellent power gains from his products. i think that his 2.5 turbo cam requires his spring upgrades as well. i bet you would get a damn good increase in HP.

2.4 Cam is the race turbo cam 1.2 is the street turbo cam. Best bet is to email/call him tell him waht you have and your goals and he will tweak the cam to best fit your engine

 

well i finally got around to installing the bisimoto cam and racing springs into my new head. The car now sounds like a diesel but nice. Cant wait to see what it will do.
