94 accord shifting weird
You can actually induce a 'sweet spot', where there is no load transmission between the Engine and Transmission. At that point, just the weight of your hand can pull the shifter out of gear without using the clutch.
Going from neutral into gear is a little more problamatic, but I've done it.
If it starts popping out of gear on it's own, THEN you've got a problem

ive only done this once or so and yes i can put it into gear as well without it grinding.
i know weird. im betting i should be able to do this as well?
idk frankenstein has been with me for a number of years. ill post some new pics when he gets out of the body shop.

oh and no i dont do this all the time with the shifting and neutral with no clutch. the topic came to my head just now and its been like a year since i remmebered this topic again. just havent posted it

P
taking it out of gear is normal not to have a grind, "floating" a gear is putting it IN gear with out using the clutch, this is only normally done in big strait trucks, you have to have the exact right RPM for this.
