I need some info on how to change out my b pillar moldings. The thick one and the thin one that goes right in front of the rear quarter window... If it matters my car is a 1990 honda crx si.

 

the ones on the outside of the car? its hard to get them off without breaking the retaining clips.

 

there are screws holding them in.

1. you have the open your car window all the way down.

2. you have to peel the weather striping out where the 'b-pillar' is. [dont worry they just slip right back on]

3. there are about 5 or 6 screws that holds the plastic in place, unscrew them.

4. now for the hard part, you have to use a long and skinny flat head, to pry the plastic clips that hold the 'b-pillar' cover thingy. [there are 3]

5. remove the white clips from the plastic cover.

6. reinstall new one in reverse order.


im assuming your talking about the part where theres 2 parallel lines on it.
