Yea actually, for some reason all the inside of the doors on mine where the doors are welded together by the door panels have little tiny rust cracks. Almost like they didn't clear coat on the inside of the door very well, and it is only around the beads of welding inside the doors, and I believe it is on all 4 doors. Look on yours, I am going to bring it to the dealer this spring and have them fix them *****.

How do you have rust of the bumper (I'm assuming you mean bumper cover)? It's made of plastic.

The easiest way to avoid rust on the inside of your doors is to dry that area off every time you wash your car. It looks a lot better when you open your doors and they are clean too.

Moisture, honestly, isn't the sole cause of rust in those areas. Keeping it clean (and free of salt/sand) will ultimately be the leading deterrent.

Dirt traps moisture, but moisture in itself won't cause the corrosion unless there is a break in the paint.

Yeah...well thanks what I mean. Everytime I clean my car, I make sure I dry/clean the door jambs thoroughly. Kinda what I was trying to get at with "...It looks a lot better when you open your doors and they are clean too..."

I do wipe them down. Every single time. It is also a normally waxed part on my car. The car has also never seen snow/salt. My car is spotless 100% of the time inside and out. I went to the dealer about the whole third gear issue a while back and had them look at that as well. That was probably around 5000 miles and they said bring it back and they would have it taken care of, I will get to posting some pictures on it.

Weird man...that sucks. At least they say that they'll care of it, but it's a PITA nonetheless.
