I am trying to install a Duraflex Type-M Front bumper and type-m sideskirts. I did not think the kit would need so much modification. If anyone has any info to help, beside "Take it to a bodyshop", please let me know. I read something about the bodykit going over the factory sideskirts. Is this true?
someone tried those thinking the same thing and ended up spending a ton of money at the body shop just to get it on his car. i saw these awhile back, looked like a good deal but after hearing that i would stay away.
good luck.
good luck.

Right, it seems like a lot of work to get it on. I am getting close but I am having trouble with the front turn signals.
Aftermarket body kits shouldn't be installed by anyone else other than a body shop who's experienced in working with fiberglass. 99.9% of the time the body kit will NEVER fit right out of the box.
Sorry to bust your bubble dude.

good luck with the bodykit. i'd love to have a mugen front but i'd rather not deal with what you're going thru. almost makes it seem easier to source a legit mugen from someplace.

I wish I knew this before I purchased it.
You can heat the FRP to get it to bend a little during fitment. Just don't melt it. Use a heat gun or your woman's blow dryer. Post pics of your problem areas on the kit.
