So i think my battery has died being I have to jump it if I let it sit for more then 6hrs with out starting and running.....this is truly a beater car that gets me back and forth to work at 40 one way with good gas milage. Question is:

-I thought about looking for a used battery....someone maybe parting out a car on Craig list or something like that. What years would fit??? I know from 88-91 most all parts fit but what about the battery?? Will a battery out of any year Honda fit???

or this just a ridicules idea and I should stop being a cheap *** and go buy a new battery??

Oh....I have a 1988 Civic LX 4door, 1.5L, 5-speed

 

I know the 88-00s use the same size battery. Newer ones probably do too.

Buy a new battery; at least you'd have a warranty.

 

Same goes for 90-01 integras they all use group 51 and 51R batteries.
