I read they made some of those Elise's with Type R motors in them.

I read they made some of those Elise's with Type R motors in them.
There's a company I think in South Carolina who does that. Maybe other places too.. but yes, the car was featured in Sport Compact Car a while ago and then more recently they pitted it against a Mustang Cobra (R?) .. they're pretty pricey though with the ITR motor in em, but you're getting a lot more performance.

It would definately be a cool car to have in one's stable.

They said the motor sits about 10in. behind your head. Imagine how that sounds when VTEC opens up in that little car.
