Default Turn signals shorting out

so after flying off a canyon road on new years eve my turn signals have been shorting out on something and blowing the fuse. I've never really had electrical problems before so I was wondering where I would start looking

Well, if you wrecked the car at all then it's possible you damaged the wiring for the signal bulbs. If you shorted out the power wire to ground it'll keep blowing the fuse.
