Default reinstalling ECU with conversion harness to stock kick panel location?

I currently have my ecu/hondata s300 sitting on the floor on the passenger side, I am having trouble tucking my ecu back to the stock location (side kick panel) with the lenghty wired boomslang conversion harness. I am afraid to force anything as I don't want to break any of the wired connections. I would like to have an OEM look with the plastic kick panel piece hiding the ecu completely but I just don't see this happening. Where did you guys set the ecu?

I set mines back in kick panel, you want to take a glue gun and some glue sticks and paste the heated glue over the wires where it meet the connector. When it gets hard just take your time and put the ecu and angle the harness where it should be then put your kick panel back up and you should be fine.....it looks all original again with no problems.....
