As most of you know my car is a mess. I do not currently have anyplace to work on it. My parents are in the middle of selling their house so I cannot work in their garage. I have no other place I can go currently. What I would need is a garage/work area, inside, through this weekend. I will be working nights and then Saturday and Sunday to strip the car.

I don't want to sound ungrateful here but if I have not met you personally I won't take your offer - no matter how good it may be. I am too concerned about my investments being stolen while under someone elses care.

How will car get to/from location? Do you have access to hoist and vehicle to move your motor?

 

How bout a friend of someone you've met, if so I might have an option for you, just gotta talk to the guy.

 

The car is on the trailer right now. Getting it off will be "fun" but not too hard. It does not roll right now. Removal of the "carcass" will be done via rollback from a scrapyard. Hoists etc are not necessary since the easiest way to pull a motor is to drop it out the bottom. A few floor jacks and some jack stands are all that is necessary.

 

If you knew me, and if it were a month from now, maybe I could help.. Just wanted to express my commiseration for your loss.. hope someone's able to help you out..

I *may* have found a full service shop in Frederick to use for a weekend. It has air, 2 lifts and everything else I could need. I will know more on Wednesday.

Mike - You are not too far. I will let you know about the other deal. I may use your facilities for the initial build of the new beast.
